COMMUNITY GROUPS

What is a community group?

A group of people gathered in person or virtually to understand Jesus, learn God’s word and apply it; build relationships where you can belong and be known, receive encouragement and be strengthened spiritually, and celebrate and grieve together.

OUR TWO WAYS TO LIVE IN COMMUNITY

IN PERSON GROUPS

We offer in-person groups to accommodate anyone and everyone! Most groups are hosted in homes creating a comfortable to learn and grow together. A few groups meet at the church to accomodate needs of the group. Either way, we want each and every person to know that there is a community waiting for them!

VIRTUAL GROUPS

Virtual groups are great for anyone who doesn't have easy access to transportation, has a longer commute making it difficult to come to an in-person group. Virtual groups can be convenient for young families who can participate in the convenience of their home while little ones are playing or sleeping!

To help you find the best fit for you, each community group lists filters along with the leaders’ names and an email addresses if you would like to connect to answer any questions you have before joining. You can also sign up for that group and the leader will reach out to you to help you get started at anytime as long as the group has openings.

You can also let us know you are looking for a group to join on the connection card on Sunday mornings, or contact Julie Burnside: julie@kingofglorysf.org. We will assist you in finding a community group that fits your needs.
