Year End Giving Opportunity

We are pleased to announce a special year end giving opportunity for the month of December. All gifts in December will go towards the following ministry focuses or mission partners. Every dollar will go directly to these efforts. These efforts are all chosen because we are meeting tangible needs in Jesus name. That means we want to support and participate in efforts to care for temporary needs and eternal needs. The video below is an update Pastor Rich shared during worship about the year end giving opportunity.

1) King of Glory Care Fund: We will replenish the King of Glory Care fund this month. These funds are used to provide financial assistance when people connected to King of Glory experience a hardship. Our staff members meet with individuals or families to determine the most appropriate way to help and provide care in a healthy manner.

2) Church Planting & Housing for Abused Women in Mongolia: Mongolia is a nation where it is projected that only 2-5 percent of the population are Christians. There are not churches readily available nor are there places that have ever heard the good news of Jesus. The organization we are supporting is called AMONG (https://amongfoundation.org/about-us-2/). They are also providing housing for women experiencing abuse or coming out of difficult substance abuse situations.

3) Orphanage in Liberia: This orphanage is led by Children’s Rescue International (https://www.criliberia.org). The orphanage is connected to a school and the focus is on sharing Christ’s love while also helping children have hope for the future. They are providing vocational training. Most importantly they are providing a home for children who have been neglected, abandoned or do not have a healthy home to live in.

4) Clinic in Haiti: This clinic is an outreach of Mission Haiti (https://www.mission-haiti.org/what-we-do/medical-care) There is very little health care available for families in Haiti and oftentimes families have no access to help when facing things like malaria. The clinic employs local Haitian people and has oversight from a doctor.

5) Harbor Families in Sioux Falls: This program is a Christian outreach to support struggling families before they enter the foster care system. Harbor Families is a program of Lifeline Children’s Services (https://lifelinechild.org/harbor-families/). Harbor Families provides a holistic approach in care as they provide homes for children and also mentorship for the parent(s) in struggling situations.
